Wendy: I’m ‘working full time, yet I can do my school full time’
In the days leading to National Single Parent Day on March 21, ASPSF is releasing new videos of our recipients! Below, Wendy shares how your donations help her balance school, work, and family life.
“My name is Wendy. Thank you for supporting single parents like myself in going back to school.
The Arkansas Single Parents Fund has helped me to pay down my [school] loans. Without the help of that, when I got out of school, I would have a lot of debt.
My choice to go back to school was to provide better for my family, and this program has allowed me to do that. I’m still working full time, yet I can do my school full time as well because I’m able to provide a place for my child to go when I go to classes.
Without this fund, I definitely would be struggling even harder to get this degree to better support my family.
Thank you so much for all you do, and thank you for supporting this fund.”
