July 2025 Student of the Month, Danielle Frencl of Baxter County
This July, Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is proud to celebrate Danielle Frencl as our Student of the Month.
A full-time mom, full-time employee, and full-time student, Danielle is balancing it all with determination and heart.
Danielle first received a single parent scholarship in Spring 2023 after discovering the program through Arkansas State University-Mountain Home’s Career Pathways, where she now works as a facilitator helping other student parents.
She uses her scholarship checks to cover essential expenses — like groceries, gas, and bills — that aren’t typically covered by other forms of financial aid.
“The scholarship helps a lot of parents,” Danielle said. “[It] helps to relieve the stress that single parents have and gives them a little bit more so they can balance out school.”
So far, she’s earned a technical certificate (2023) and an associate degree (2024) from ASU-Mountain Home. She’s now working on a bachelor’s degree in business and will eventually launch her own family-friendly entertainment business.
Even with a packed schedule, Danielle has maintained a strong GPA, earning all A’s and B’s. She says she’s most proud of that accomplishment, especially while working full-time.
And her 4-year-old daughter, Amara, is already picking up on her mom’s example.
“We practice our ABCs and counting in the car,” Danielle said.
Congratulations, Danielle! ASPSF is proud to support your journey, and we can’t wait to see where your dreams take you next.
